Step 2: Glazing and Baking
The greased Bundt Pan should hold the prepared cake batter.
Bake the Bundt Pan for 40 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven. Insert a toothpick into the cake's center to verify its doneness. Your cake is ready if it comes out clean without any wet batter.
While the cake is heating up, now is the right time to set up the delicious wine glaze. Combine the white wine, granulated sugar, salted butter, and pure vanilla extract in a small pot.
The glaze should be cooked for three to four minutes, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until all the ingredients are incorporated and the glaze has slightly thickened.
When the cake isdone, take it out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes on a wire rack.
Poke holes all over the cake's top surface with a skewer or thin metal piece while it is still in the pan.
Making the Irresistible Wine Glaze The wine glaze is what gives Crack Cake its distinctive flavor and sweetness. Pour the prepared wine glaze over the cake slowly and evenly. The wine gives the glaze a hint of sweetness and depth, and the butter gives it a creamy, rich texture. We'll show you how to make the perfect wine glaze for your next Crack Cake in this section.
